TRONSCAN Explorer Guide: Everything You Can Check
Half of our support work is walking users through TRONSCAN — once you learn it, you stop needing support. This guide covers the checks that matter for everyday TRON use.
Bookmark it; you'll use it more than you expect.
TRONSCAN lets you verify: balances, energy/bandwidth resources, transaction status (via hash), network TPS, contract info, and delegation records. It's the single most useful verification tool for TRON users.
Checking balances and resources
Paste any address into TRONSCAN's search bar: you'll see TRX/USDT balances, and under 'Account Resources', your bandwidth and energy. This is where you verify a rental landed or a stake is active.
Reading the resource panel: our resource guide.
Verifying a transaction
Paste a transaction hash: status (SUCCESS/FAIL), energy usage, fee, timestamp, and full details. 'Where is my transfer' questions resolve here in ten seconds.
Status interpretation: our error guide.
Network stats and TPS
TRONSCAN's dashboard shows live TPS, block height, and network parameters. Our market widget reads the same public API — cross-reference when you want confirmation.
Why TPS matters: our throughput guide.
Contract and delegation checks
Search a contract address to see its type and recent activity. Check delegation transactions to verify a rental platform's on-chain proof — a core safety step in our platform checklist.
Being able to verify delegation on-chain is your best anti-scam tool.
Advanced: resource parameters
TRONSCAN exposes the network's resource parameters (energy ratio, burn price references) — the raw inputs to our data engine. Power users can watch these to anticipate market shifts.
The economics: our demand analysis.
- Renting energy costs about 1.56–1.69 TRX per USDT transfer vs 6.5 TRX burned without energy (per the TronGuides data engine).
- A standard TRC-20 USDT transfer consumes about 65,000 energy; bandwidth is separate and mostly free.
- Always verify your recipient's network and address, and never share your private key with any service.
